PipPoopie ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy and your baby's data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the PipPoopie mobile application.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Account information (email address, name)
- Baby profile data (name, date of birth, feeding type)
- Diaper log entries (date, time, notes)
- Food and allergen tracking data
Photo Processing
Diaper photos are analyzed using Google AI. Photos are sent securely to Google's AI service (via Firebase) for analysis. We do not store or retain photos after analysis. Photos are transmitted over encrypted connections and are not used to train AI models.
Automatically Collected Information
- Device type and operating system version
- App usage analytics (anonymized)
- Crash reports (anonymized)
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve the PipPoopie service
- To generate health insights and trend analysis
- To create doctor-ready PDF reports (at your request)
- To send you important app updates (with your consent)
Data Storage and Security
Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information. Baby health data is stored on your device and optionally synced via encrypted cloud backup.
Data Sharing
We never sell your data. We do not share personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Data may be shared only:
- With family members you explicitly invite to your team
- When required by law or legal process
- With anonymized, aggregated analytics providers

You have the right to:
- Access all data we store about you
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Export your data in a portable format

Children's Privacy
PipPoopie is designed for parents and caregivers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Baby profile data is controlled entirely by the parent account holder.
